About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, organize, direct, and perform electronic/electrical and mechanical maintenance to maximize production and assure product quality standards
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Coordinate and participate in preventive maintenance activities
  • Establish machine repair priorities
  • Input and manage data for the maintenance management database
  • Understand and troubleshoot machinery in assigned manufacturing areas
  • Interface with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Support functions
  • Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures when working on equipment
  • Progress technically to achieve job-level expectations
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance supporting tire uniformity, quality, and productivity
  • Perform duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate Degree in EET, MET, Mechatronics, or similar curriculum OR 3 years experience in Industrial Maintenance OR Military Experience in a maintenance discipline
  • Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24-hour manufacturing operation
  • Electronic/electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery
  • Ability to perform Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • This position is not available for immigration sponsorship
