About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guarantee purchasing operations with the business entities, from the operational implementation of contracts to end-to-end execution, from PO creation to payment
- Ensure contracts are properly implemented operationally during deployment/rollout, in collaboration with Purchasing on the Request to Pay scope
- Deploy contracts from Purchase Requisition through payment of the first invoice, including order management, price configuration and catalogue updates
- Manage invoices and resolve process issues to ensure suppliers are paid on time
- Support prepayment processes when relevant
- Support contractual disputes with Business, Legal, Purchasing, and Management stakeholders
- Ensure operational activities comply with internal control requirements and implement post-audit action plans
- Support Buyers and Business Contract Managers in contract deployment and management
- Participate in governance meetings and prepare R2P-relevant data
- Share best practices and make operational recommendations regarding purchasing processes
- Act as first-level support and single point of contact for internal partners on R2P operational topics
- Support suppliers with R2P-related queries
- Ensure procurement data quality
- Manage and optimize contract execution operations throughout the R2P lifecycle
- Monitor KPIs for PO creation lead time, GBPA, on-time payment, digitalization, SMART, e-invoicing, and on-hold invoices
- Tutor and mentor peers
- Improve processes and ways of working
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluency in Italian and English (B2+)
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier management activities
- Strong initiative and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Good communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
