About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop collateral such as application notes, data sheets, technical manuals, and other activities for new product development
Develop and support evaluation platform PCBs for customer use
Develop and present technical training such as webinars and hands-on workshops to customers, sales, and field application engineers
Provide direct technical support to sales, field application engineers, and key strategic customers
Work in a team environment and interact with Design, Product/Test, and Marketing teams
Work with Marketing and Sales to identify new applications and market spaces and assist in defining new products
Support USB and PCIe products within the Networking Communication Systems business unit

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors or Masters in electrical engineering or equivalent discipline with 2.5 - 5 years of relevant experience
Understanding of electrical system design including mixed signal circuits fundamentals
Basic understanding of embedded software/firmware design
Strong written communication skills
Strong computer skills
Experience in presentation of technical information
Experience in direct customer service and support
Experience working with communication protocols such as USB, PCIe, Ethernet, etc.
Experience in basic electrical circuits design
Fundamental understanding of programming in embedded assembly and C programming languages
Fundamental understanding of common lab equipment such as function generators, power supplies and oscilloscopes
Experience working with hardware and Microcontroller based designs
Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Experience working within Linux operating system distributions
Travel requirement of 0% - 25%
