About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define the next generation of precision analog and mixed-signal products
  • Author and maintain device specifications for new products and derivatives
  • Drive product specifications through defined milestones
  • Translate customer needs, market input, and application use cases into requirements and key specification parameters
  • Evaluate architecture trade-offs with design engineering
  • Perform hands-on application-level evaluation of new silicon in real-world use cases and reference circuits
  • Design, review, and bring up reference and evaluation hardware for complete signal-chain solutions
  • Develop application notes, design guides, reference designs, and evaluation board documentation
  • Support SPICE macromodel and behavioral model releases
  • Write and review datasheets and specification-derived collateral
  • Resolve complex escalated design issues with customers and field applications teams
  • Deliver technical training on product operation and system-level signal-chain design
  • Provide technical guidance to junior applications engineers
  • Support sustaining and lifecycle activities for assigned devices
  • Collaborate with product marketing, architecture, design engineering, product engineering, validation, and test throughout new-product development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BSEE, MSEE, or PhD
  • 10+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal applications, design, validation, or systems engineering
  • Deep hands-on expertise in precision linear/analog or data converters
  • Working knowledge of the complementary area in precision signal-chain design
  • Experience contributing to product requirements or device definition
  • Solid bench evaluation and debug skills with standard lab instrumentation
  • Experience with PCB design and hardware bring-up
  • Proficiency with SPICE simulation and tools for circuit analysis and design verification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical documentation experience, including datasheets and application notes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate across teams
  • Preferred: depth in both linear/analog and data converters
  • Preferred: embedded programming for MCU-based evaluation over SPI, QSPI, I2C, or I3C
  • Preferred: data analysis or lab automation using Python or MATLAB
  • Preferred: AMS, behavioral modeling, or SPICE macromodel development
  • Preferred: direct technical customer engagement
  • Preferred: published application notes/articles or technical workshop delivery
  • Preferred: domain knowledge in industrial, energy metering, medical, or automotive markets
