About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure, manage, and maintain the global virtual environment based on VMware, Proxmox, and Nutanix
Install, configure, patch, and security-harden physical servers
Manage the Aria Automation deployment
Create cloud templates and extend Aria Automation services to AWS, Azure, and GCP
Manage the Aria Operations deployment
Utilize Aria Operations capabilities including rightsizing, planning, and troubleshooting
Work with infrastructure teams to solve problems
Work in a global team
Support the Level 2 team with training

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
7.5–9 years of experience
Excellent knowledge of VMware vSphere, VMware Cloud Foundation, and Proxmox
Good knowledge of VMware Aria Automation and Operations
Good knowledge of Lenovo, HPE, and Dell hardware
Good working knowledge of a wide variety of operating systems
Ability to work as part of a global team and remotely support the global virtualization footprint
Knowledge of Nutanix preferred
Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure preferred
Knowledge of Kubernetes and containers preferred
Knowledge of various storage systems and technologies preferred
Willingness to travel 0%–25%
