About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for proprietary hardware solutions
- Procure technical components and manage global supplier and contract manufacturer relationships
- Optimize hardware inventory and coordinate logistics for high-value physical assets
- Partner with Sales and Operations to update forecasts and maintain project plans and Gantt charts
- Align suppliers and contract manufacturers on production timelines, inventory levels, capacity bottlenecks, BOM revisions, and engineering changes
- Manage and optimize BOM costs and support scalable spending
- Build and run receiving, inspection, and validation processes for incoming components
- Manage component flashing/configuration, proprietary-part assembly, and pre-kitting workflows
- Coordinate inbound and outbound hardware logistics among suppliers, warehouses, manufacturing partners, and customers
- Implement domestic and international freight and parcel cost-saving strategies
- Lead monthly physical inventory audits and reconciliation across all locations
- Manage RMA processes, root-cause analyses, vendor returns, refunds, and replacements
- Maintain safety stock and spare-parts inventory for production and field repairs
- Implement ERP systems and automation tools to streamline workflows and reduce errors
- Improve supply chain workflows, reporting, and real-time inventory visibility
- Define and track KPIs for inventory accuracy, fulfillment, manufacturing throughput, and on-time delivery
- Build scalable SOPs and maintain inventory logs, QA records, and shipping manifests
- Report to the COO
- Travel locally between the Downtown Toronto office and warehouse locations within the GTA
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing coordination, or hardware program management
- Experience ideally working with hardware, IoT, networking, or electro-mechanical products
- Strong background in demand forecasting, strategic procurement, budget planning, and critical-path dependency analysis
- Ability to interpret technical specification sheets, Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, and engineering changes
- Hands-on experience with SmartSheet or other advanced project planning and Gantt chart software
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP or inventory management software
- Direct experience implementing or migrating a new ERP system is a major bonus
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation ability to secure favorable pricing, lower MOQs, and compressed lead times
- Highly organized and process oriented, with close attention to detail
- Ability to build long-term partnerships and take ownership of plans, quality, actions, and deliverables
