About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and analyze monthly management reporting, including the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow, KPI analyses, and variance analyses
- Derive specific recommendations for management
- Support and coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term planning processes
- Monitor business development and analyze performance drivers
- Identify opportunities for optimization
- Provide decision-relevant financial analyses for management and the corporate group
- Take responsibility for liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management
- Manage project and investment controlling
- Review the achievement of defined business case targets
- Work closely with the Accounting team, the German holding company, and Group Finance
- Further develop reporting and controlling tools
- Optimize processes, systems, and the quality of financial reporting
- Play an active role in shaping modern controlling and reporting structures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
- At least five years of professional experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, or a comparable financial environment
- Sound knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, management reporting, and business performance management
- Understanding of the interrelationships between the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Experience in group reporting
- Experience with consolidation processes is a plus
- Experience working in an international environment with multiple entities
- Proficient user of ERP systems such as DATEV, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or comparable solutions
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Confident communication skills in German and English
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and professional stakeholder management
