About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and analyze monthly management reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs, and variance analysis
  • Turn financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations for management
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Monitor business performance and analyze key performance drivers
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide management and Group Finance with relevant financial insights
  • Support liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management
  • Perform project and investment controlling, including tracking performance against approved business plans
  • Work with Accounting to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting
  • Deliver management and Group reporting requirements on time
  • Coordinate reporting requirements with the German holding company and Group Finance
  • Develop financial models, dashboards, and management reporting tools
  • Continuously improve controlling processes, systems, and reporting quality
  • Collaborate closely with management, Accounting, and Group Finance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable qualification
  • 5–8 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, or a similar finance role
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and key business performance drivers
  • Experience with Group reporting and consolidation processes, ideally in an international, multi-entity environment
  • Confidence working with ERP systems such as DATEV, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or comparable solutions
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Confident communication in German and English
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Professional stakeholder management approach
  • Experience with IFRS, multinational reporting environments, Power BI or similar business intelligence tools, or a background in technology, software, or another growth-oriented business would be a plus
