About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and sustain software supporting DoD waiver submission, review, routing, and disposition
- Translate user and mission requirements into software designs and implementation tasks
- Implement workflow logic, validation rules, interfaces, and data handling
- Conduct code reviews, testing, defect resolution, and release documentation
- Coordinate with engineers, database personnel, administrators, and Government stakeholders on integration and deployment
- Support global mission continuity within the MEDEX/MEDXS mission
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience developing systems that manage DoD waiver workflows
- Ability to translate business rules and approval processes into reliable software behavior
- Proven experience managing personnel deployments, navigating the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), and coordinating host-nation theater clearance and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility
- Active Secret clearance
- Valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining on the first day of contract performance
- Assigned DCWF role: 621, Software Developer, Intermediate
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- CSSLP or GSEC certification
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- Applicable DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualifications must be satisfied before independently performing duties requiring privileged access or covered cybersecurity functions
- Readiness on the first day of performance
