About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain user-facing features and supporting services for the NXT Platform
Deliver full-stack web features throughout the SDLC, from requirements and design through coding, testing, and deployment
Build and maintain responsive, accessible UIs with ReactJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Develop and optimize web applications and services using ReactJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and related technologies
Apply AI-assisted engineering tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and debugging while owning correctness, security, and maintainability
Use agile methodologies to plan sprints and participate in design sessions
Collaborate on scalable, maintainable system architecture and design
Write automated tests and participate in code reviews
Work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and product managers to define requirements, identify constraints, and deliver product features
Advance the NXT platform and solve complex technical challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern front-end development, including JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based architecture, and state management
Deep knowledge of Node.js and experience building server-side applications and APIs
Proficiency with PostgreSQL or a similar relational database, including database design and query optimization
Comprehensive understanding of full-stack development across front-end, back-end, and data layers, including REST-based APIs
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
Good judgment about effective use of AI-assisted development tools
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across remote teams
Experience building or integrating AI/ML capabilities, such as LLM APIs, retrieval, or model integration, into production environments preferred
Strong TypeScript skills and experience with modern testing frameworks preferred
Prior experience in digital advertising preferred
Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and willingness to learn and adapt to other frameworks preferred
Exposure to DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines and cloud services, particularly Kubernetes, AWS, and GitHub Actions preferred
US work authorization required
