About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze transportation costs, including warehousing, unloading, negotiations, and freight quotations, with the aim of optimizing and reducing expenses
- Evaluate the logistics network, identifying opportunities to create logistics circuits and implement new transportation modes
- Monitor team and carrier performance indicators and implement corrective actions
- Prepare management presentations and reports, and monitor and deliver the company’s monthly results
- Analyze and manage high-volume databases
- Use SAP, LES-TRA (Logistic Execution System & Transportation) module
- Identify opportunities for system improvements in freight registration processes and volume allocation to carriers
- Manage and control claims and incidents, including assessing damage coverage and negotiating settlements with insurers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in Transportation Management required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Management Processes, or a related field
- Knowledge of SAP, Excel, and Power BI
