About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enter into Nurse Practitioner collaboration agreements as required by state law
- Maintain active licensure in good standing for the duration of the agreement
- Participate in state-specific administrative requirements, as applicable by state
- Serve as collaborating Physician for Nurse Practitioners
- Mississippi: Review 20 charts per month
- Mississippi: Lead quarterly virtual meetings with collaborating NPs, held on the first Wednesday of the month
- South Carolina: Fulfill collaboration requirements with no meeting or chart review requirement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Practice location in the state where serving as collaborating Physician
- Active, unrestricted, unencumbered MD or DO license in South Carolina or Mississippi
- Board-Certified MD or DO
- Willingness to serve as collaborating physician of record for Nurse Practitioners
- Comfortable in a non-clinical, administrative role
- Agreement to cover at least 50% of collaborating physician slots in states where Midi operates
- Ability to maintain licensure and required documentation throughout the contract period
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs
- Mississippi: Review 20 charts per month and lead quarterly virtual meetings with collaborating NPs
- South Carolina: No meeting or chart review requirement
