About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring objectives, scope, timescales and deliverables are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and dependencies.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies, including mitigation and escalation.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts and expenditure against financial targets.
  • Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Track project performance, KPIs and reporting insights.
  • Maintain project governance, change control, documentation and assurance processes.
  • Coordinate project teams, competing priorities, collaboration and accountability.
  • Identify delivery process improvements and share best practice.
  • Work with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams on technically challenging Aerospace and Aviation projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience managing projects or work packages, ideally within Aerospace, Aviation, Engineering, Manufacturing or another complex technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, resource management, dependencies and delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing project risks, budgets, forecasts, schedules and delivery performance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and bring teams together.
  • Experience with project reporting, change control, KPIs and project governance.
  • Ability to take ownership, manage competing priorities, make informed decisions and navigate challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or Power BI would be beneficial.
