About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the development and successful execution of the team’s strategic plan, including annual budget monitoring;
- Define and implement processes to achieve the team’s objectives, including follow-up, evaluation, and post-implementation reviews;
- Serve on committees focused on space optimization and collaborate with professors, researchers, and administration to improve workspaces;
- Continue initiatives related to Phase 2 of the work, including implementation, communications with the community, and the management of consultations and improvement suggestions;
- Act as the physical security lead and manage the implementation and compliance of Mila’s physical security plan with the security firm and IT team;
- Coordinate communications regarding the physical security plan;
- Support the implementation of ad hoc projects, including alumni program initiatives, the visitor access policy, and office assignments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in a relevant discipline;
- At least five years of experience in space management, or an equivalent combination of professional qualifications and/or experience;
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work independently and propose proactive solutions;
- Demonstrated collaboration and relationship-management skills with a variety of stakeholders;
- Versatility and adaptability to the needs of different projects underway;
- Bilingual in French and English.
