About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate and maintain existing network and Azure cloud infrastructure
- Ensure performance, availability and security across all locations
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across network, firewall, wireless and cloud connectivity
- Provide structured operational feedback to infrastructure architects
- Identify design gaps, recurring issues and improvement opportunities
- Own new projects and changes as they transition into operations
- Check documentation, runbooks, monitoring and support readiness before go-live
- Align services and infrastructure components with ITIL processes
- Review and implement production changes following change management procedures
- Fulfil network and cloud access, connectivity and configuration service requests
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and plan improvements
- Stay current on technology trends relevant to network and Azure operations
- Participate in the on-call rotation outside standard business hours when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience operating and supporting enterprise network infrastructure — switching, routing, firewalls, and wireless
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking and cloud connectivity
- Comfortable working within ITIL-based processes — incident, change, problem and service request management
- Experience taking new infrastructure or services from implementation into steady-state operations
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work complex incidents and problems to resolution
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Relevant IT education and/or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) — Mandatory
- CCNA (or equivalent networking certification) — considered an advantage
- Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) — considered an advantage
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation, with 6 to 8 on-call duties per month
