About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Use email, telephone, and message requests to schedule physician-ordered diagnostic tests
Contact patients to schedule testing within 24 hours of receiving a request
Schedule tests within 48 hours of being ordered, pending schedule and equipment availability
Notify offices when patients/tests are scheduled
Provide patients with instructions regarding their tests over the phone
Schedule multiple tests at appropriate times without overlap
Check phone and email messages frequently throughout the day
Prioritize and schedule STAT patients first
Assist in other areas as needed
Update patient notes with insurance and personal contact information changes
Maintain a log of patients needing tests and record completion
Work typically alone with little supervision
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Fully remote, full-time position
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm EST availability
Bilingual required: English and Spanish
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or accredited radiologic school; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
