About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Promote collaboration, automation, and secure continuous delivery of high-quality software
Improve communication, automate tasks, ensure stability and performance, and enable scalability across application development and deployment processes
Work closely with development and operations teams to build security into the software development lifecycle
Implement security practices and tools from planning through implementation and ongoing monitoring
Integrate security practices into development from the initial stages
Automate security testing and static/dynamic code analysis
Facilitate communication between development, operations, and security teams
Automate software delivery and facilitate continuous delivery
Manage infrastructure and configurations
Monitor and manage pipeline and infrastructure performance
Manage security and regulatory compliance
Ensure stability, performance, and scalability
Research and adopt new technologies in a controlled environment
Automate tasks in the software lifecycle
Collect and analyze security metrics
Prepare security reports for management
Conduct regular security risk assessments
Adjust security strategies based on changing threats and vulnerabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS in Computer Science or Engineering required; MS preferred
Experience in an iterative/agile software development lifecycle
Experience in DevOps and Scrum methodologies
Experience in APIs and Webservices development
Experience in web-based solutions
Experience in mobile-based solutions
Ability to work with technical and non-technical individuals, gather information, and communicate direction
Skills in algorithm development and problem solving
Team player with excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Experience with CMS such as Drupal and WordPress
Knowledge of APIs and Webservices principles and design standards
Experience with Node.js, PHP, and Java
Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and Couchbase
Operating systems experience
