About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply AI-assisted engineering practices (AI DLC) across the development lifecycle, sharing effective workflows and patterns with the team.
  • Design and maintain APIs, background services, and reusable business logic using .NET and C#.
  • Build customer-facing features, including UI, Blazor apps, and .NET MAUI mobile functionality.
  • Develop cloud-native solutions and infrastructure as code on AWS, and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Implement observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting) and investigate production issues to identify root causes.
  • Apply security, privacy, and least-privilege principles across application and infrastructure work.
  • Participate in technical design, estimation, code reviews, and incremental delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product, Test Engineering, Support, and CloudOps to resolve dependencies and deliver complete solutions.
  • Document architecture and technical decisions to support long-term maintainability.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three or more years of software engineering experience developing and supporting production systems.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools and structured practices such as the AI DLC, including evaluating AI-generated output against normal engineering standards.
  • Experience developing applications and services using .NET, C#, Web API, ASP.NET MVC, and RESTful APIs, including reusable services and shared business logic.
  • Experience building web and cross-platform applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Blazor, and .NET MAUI.
  • Working knowledge of relational database design, SQL, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, IAM, and CloudWatch, and understanding of cloud architecture, security, and high availability.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
  • Experience implementing observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting) and troubleshooting distributed applications and production issues.
  • Experience with automated testing, source control, code review, and Agile delivery in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.
