About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach to potential partners and referral sources
- Lead presentations, negotiations, and partnership discussions
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- Establish and cultivate relationships with healthcare providers, organizations, insurers, and community organizations in Texas and surrounding markets
- Develop and execute strategies to increase referral volume
- Support recruitment of new providers through relationships with talent pools, universities, and professional organizations
- Monitor market trends and adjust recruitment strategies
- Provide ongoing support to referral partners and ensure smooth communication and collaboration
- Organize and attend networking events, conferences, and local outreach programs
- Track and report referral sources, business development activities, and recruitment metrics
- Analyze referral and recruitment data to optimize efforts and adjust strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales, business development, or care coordination role, preferably within healthcare, behavioral health, or a related field
- Proven ability to develop relationships and grow referral pipelines
- Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with the ability to track and report on progress using CRM tools and performance metrics
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, mental health services, and referral networks is highly preferred
- Flexibility to travel 30-50% of the time across local and regional territories
- Enthusiasm for face-to-face engagement, including visits to hospitals, medical facilities, company offices, and industry events
- Background check required
