About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide scheduled case reviews and consultations to care managers regarding psychiatric care for assigned child and adolescent patients
  • Submit written consult notes with medication recommendations and treatment updates within 24 hours in Mindoula’s Member Registry
  • Support ongoing treatment in primary care and pediatric settings
  • Recommend transitions to more intensive or specialized mental health services as needed
  • Provide indirect psychiatric case reviews and consultations
  • Communicate non-direct treatment recommendations while ensuring referring clinicians retain primary care ownership
  • Train primary care and pediatric staff and providers on behavioral health conditions and integrated care best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Oregon medical license (required)
  • Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (required)
  • Strong interest in integrated, virtual, and measurement-based care models (required)
  • Experience in pediatrics (required)
  • Willingness to become licensed in additional states (preferred, not required)
  • Independent contractor status (1099)
