About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define the test strategy and review business requests and analysis documents
- Create and execute test cases, scenarios, and test plans
- Follow up on defects and write test reports
- Automate API test cases and manual and automated UI test cases using appropriate tools
- Support teams and help estimate test effort for projects
- Improve testing processes and test deliverables
- Perform functional and non-functional testing
- Perform end-to-end testing with external partners
- Support user acceptance testing
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and engineers
- Report to the Software Team Leader
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 7 years of experience in software testing, both manual and automated
- Bachelor's degree or higher is an asset
- Experience with API testing and building test strategies
- ISTQB certification is an asset
- Experience testing Java services, web services, REST APIs, proxy services, XML, XSD, and WSDL
- Knowledge of Jira, Xray, ReadyAPI, and Playwright
- Experience with Groovy script or equivalent
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Familiarity with public administration systems is a plus
- Fluent in Dutch and English or French and English, with at least basic knowledge of the third language
- Eligible to work in Belgium
