About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and manage branded assets across print and digital media
  • Design invitations, flyers, email marketing materials, signs and banners, annual reports, brochures, direct mail solicitations, newspaper ads, digital screen assets, and other collateral
  • Manage website content and assist with website coding as needed
  • Assist with marketing campaigns for Katz JCC events, community outreach and education, and funds development
  • Collaborate in person with staff, departments, and organizational leadership
  • Troubleshoot technical and project-related issues
  • Work across multiple brands and manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a professional or volunteer in the graphic design and/or multimedia communications field
  • Experience with graphic design, website management, marketing and communications
  • A high level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing software, video editing software, website content management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with email marketing design (MailChimp, Constant Contact) and WordPress a plus
  • Funds development and/or copy-editing experience a plus
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals, including layouts, typography, line composition, and color
  • Proficiency with design software to produce visual content and data visualization
  • Experience with web design using content management systems such as WordPress, HubSpot and Squarespace
  • Ability to work on-site in Cherry Hill, New Jersey during regular business hours
