About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, build, and operate server and network environments for customers and in the company’s own cloud
Operate cloud platforms in German data centers, from provisioning and backup through to monitoring
Manage firewalls, VPNs, and networks
Migrate customers to Microsoft 365 and establish sustainable environments
Centrally manage customer environments, including patching, monitoring, endpoint security, and backup
Assemble and test servers and workstations, and deliver them to customers
Support customers with incidents and technical questions
Document solutions
Contribute to standards, tooling, and processes, and automate recurring tasks
Communicate directly with customers about requirements, concepts, and solutions
Contribute to the ongoing development of infrastructure standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Windows Server, virtualization, and networking
Knowledge of Microsoft 365
Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and routing
Willingness to work with Linux and scripting
Enjoy assembling and testing hardware and servers
Enjoy communicating with customers by phone and explaining technical concepts clearly
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and persevere
Willingness to take on challenges
Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
Team spirit
Honesty and open communication
Class B driver’s license
Willingness to travel and work regularly on-site at customer locations
No specific certifications required; personality, motivation, and potential matter more than certifications
