About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reposition Mirantis from a private cloud infrastructure company to a full-stack AI infrastructure company
  • Build market gravity through analyst conversations, buyer shortlists, ecosystem conversations, earned attention, and brand awareness
  • Personally craft positioning and messaging around open, vendor-agnostic AI infrastructure standards
  • Own marketing across Enterprise and CSP/Neocloud businesses
  • Develop coherent marketing for enterprise ABM, installed-base AI workload expansion, and reputation-driven CSP/Neocloud buyers
  • Document marketing impact through case studies, metrics, and market-moving launches
  • Lead, assess, develop, and reshape the existing marketing team
  • Partner with BD to build relationships with NVIDIA and leading Neoclouds and turn them into joint go-to-market motions
  • Report to the SVP & GM, with potential progression to the executive table based on impact
  • Partner directly with Sales, Product, the CEO, and executive staff to shape company direction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Based in the United States, with flexibility for travel
  • Experience through the rise of cloud native, including Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure orchestration
  • Experience in AI infrastructure across GPU orchestration, AI clouds, model serving, and inferencing
  • Worked at, marketed to, or competed against companies such as CoreWeave, Nebius, Crusoe, Together.ai, Fireworks.ai, BaseTen, Modal, Northflank, VAST, Netris, ClearML, or NVIDIA, and/or infrastructure pedigree from AWS, Red Hat, Rancher, HPE, or Dell
  • Entrepreneurial, high-growth startup experience preferred by the role's profile
  • Demonstrated track record of specific launches, campaigns, positioning shifts, or brand moments with measurable outcomes
  • Technical depth from product marketing, product management, or technical sales sufficient to be credible with infrastructure engineers and AI researchers
  • Track record of building brand awareness, analyst/media presence, and pipeline impact
  • Demonstrated ability to build and activate an industry ecosystem and drive business development and partnerships
  • Experience contributing to outcomes at the scale of billions of dollars in enterprise value
  • Comfortable operating with a moderate budget and making sharp trade-offs
  • Flexibility for travel
