Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and established software engineering practices
  • Build modern web applications using React, TypeScript, reusable components, responsive layouts, and accessible interaction patterns

  • Maintain clear OpenAPI/Swagger contracts and error handling
  • Design modular, maintainable solutions using microservices and object-oriented and event-driven design patterns
  • Use Node.js for lightweight services, backend-for-frontend components, integrations, or development tooling
  • Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models and queries for integrity, performance, and audit history
  • Implement integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, messaging, and other integration patterns
  • Containerize applications and contribute to cloud-based deployment patterns, configuration management, and environment consistency
  • Build and maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, quality gates, and repeatable deployments
  • Instrument applications with structured logging, metrics, tracing, and actionable error reporting
  • Troubleshoot functional and production issues
  • Improve application performance, resilience, scalability, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and engineering teams through design sessions, code reviews, planning, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, including ownership of production applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring technologies, particularly Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security, and automated testing
  • Solid frontend development experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component-based design, state management, and modern testing practices
  • Familiarity with Node.js for lightweight services, integrations, build tooling, or supporting components
  • Proven experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and maintainable applications in distributed environments
  • Strong SQL skills and experience designing efficient data models in PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases
  • Experience developing, deploying, or supporting cloud-based and containerized applications
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation and lead client-facing workshops
  • Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure API design
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable messaging and event-streaming technologies
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability tooling, and secure software delivery practices
  • WFM application or platform integration experience is a nice-to-have
  • AWS services and Amazon Connect experience is a nice-to-have
  • CX, contact center, voice infrastructure, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Twilio, or comparable communications platform experience is a nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of forecasting, scheduling, adherence, routing, agent desktop, digital channels, or related operational concepts is a nice-to-have
  • CRM, identity, HR, payroll, analytics, or other enterprise systems integration experience is a nice-to-have
  • Practical AI-assisted software development or AI-enabled solutions experience, including Claude or GitHub Copilot, is a plus
