About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services in Golang, including RESTful APIs and data contracts
Implement and support asynchronous, event-driven communication
Ensure message reliability, error handling, and backward compatibility
Contribute to distributed systems and microservices development
Improve application performance, reliability, and resource utilization
Participate in technical discussions and implementation activities
Collaborate through code reviews and knowledge sharing
Write and maintain unit and integration tests for APIs, business logic, and integrations
Develop secure APIs and service integrations using authentication and authorization best practices
Build integrations with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Genesys Cloud, and other third-party systems
Support and maintain integrations between internal services and external enterprise platforms
Occasionally contribute to React-based frontend functionality

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
Experience building backend applications and services using Golang
Good understanding of concurrency in Golang and asynchronous workflows
Experience with event-driven architectures and message handling (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies)
Experience with AWS and cloud-native environments
Experience developing RESTful APIs and service integrations
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API development principles
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with automated testing, including unit and integration testing
Experience with React, TypeScript, Protobuf, Azure or GCP (nice to have)
Experience with Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, or similar IAM solutions (nice to have)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus (nice to have)
