About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own day-to-day accounting and treasury operations, reporting to the Controller
  • Lead the month-end close from pre-close preparation through balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis
  • Own monthly consolidation across the multi-entity structure, including intercompany eliminations and GAAP compliance
  • Direct the annual financial statement audit as the primary external liaison
  • Manage the PBC list and keep the audit lifecycle on schedule
  • Partner with external tax advisors and Treasury on settlement accounting, restricted cash classifications, and reserve calculations
  • Introduce AI agents into journal entries, reconciliations, and variance reporting
  • Build and develop a small, high-performing accounting team as a player-coach
  • Tighten the close calendar and refine internal controls, audit readiness, and AI-enabled workflows toward IPO readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active CPA and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, including 5+ years leading a team
  • Deep, hands-on experience with month-end close, financial consolidation, and GAAP compliance in a multi-entity organization
  • Direct experience leading external financial statement audits end to end, including PBC management
  • Working knowledge of the COSO framework and PCAOB standards related to ICFR, with experience designing and testing internal controls
  • Proficiency with NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP, plus advanced Excel
