Key responsibilities & impact

Scan, sort, and categorize foreign-language written and verbal materials to recover essential elements of information
Complete lists, translations, and transcriptions of complex written and/or spoken materials from Arabic to English and English to Arabic
Perform quality control on language processing activities
Compile and update operational work aids and databases
Draft intelligence reports
Support critical national security missions as part of HII’s Cyber & Intelligence team

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 0 years of experience with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience
Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and text translation from Arabic into idiomatic, standard American English; skill level shall be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission
Full-time experience in Cryptologic Operations performing language processing in the required language(s)
Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
Arabic language proficiency
Translating and/or transcribing, and gisting as the primary duty for at least 2 of the 4 years of experience
Reporting as the primary duty for no more than 1 year of the required 4 years
2 years of end product reporting experience
3 years performing Computer Network Operations
