About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, revise, and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks
  • Support configuration management activities including document control, revision tracking, and engineering change integration
  • Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, CAD standards, and applicable industry specifications
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to maintain design accuracy and proper documentation
  • Participate in configuration audits
  • Maintain accurate records of engineering and design data
  • Maintain excellent quality standards in drafting and documentation deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 year of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience (Level 2)
  • Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience (Level 3)
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks with advanced modeling and drawing skills
  • Solid understanding of configuration control, documentation standards, and CAD data management
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Active SECRET security clearance required
  • Preferred: 10+ years of experience
  • Preferred: Accredited SolidWorks Trainer
  • Preferred: Experience supporting DoD, defense, or government engineering environments
