About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all end-user devices
- Ensure endpoint security, performance, and lifecycle management
- Drive proactive improvements to endpoint services, reliability, and user experience
- Lead a team of approximately ten desktop administrators
- Oversee daily support operations and timely, professional handling of incidents, requests, and escalations
- Translate organizational needs into effective support practices
- Guide delivery of technical assistance, troubleshooting, patching, and device management across a global enterprise
- Anticipate evolving business and technology needs
- Identify opportunities to enhance endpoint security, streamline software delivery, and improve device compliance and visibility
- Collaborate with IT Operations, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to align with enterprise architecture and security requirements
- Build and develop a high-performing team through mentorship, coaching, and performance management
- Promote accountability, innovation, and customer focus
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 7+ years of progressive hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Enterprise IT systems, tools, and services
- 3+ years leading and managing Enterprise IT teams
- Experience leading personnel, managing tasks, tracking statuses, and optimizing processes across a geographically distributed IT team
- Experience developing, managing, and documenting service-oriented processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Management, and Knowledge Management
- TS/SCI clearance required
- Ability to obtain Poly
- Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow IT service management modules (Incident, Problem, Request, and Knowledge) and asset management modules (CMDB, ITAM, HAM, SAM)
- Preferred: Leading and managing tasks and personnel across a geographically distributed workforce
- Preferred: Working with/across multi-disciplinary teams and operational managers to resolve outages and improve service delivery
