About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support development and maintenance of manufacturing processes for UUV systems, subassemblies, and components
Create and update work instructions, assembly travelers, manufacturing routings, and bills of materials (BOMs)
Assist with new product introduction activities, prototype builds, and early production units
Support production technicians with assembly, integration, and test activities
Troubleshoot basic manufacturing and assembly issues and escalate complex problems
Support system-level integration, functional testing, and environmental testing of UUV assemblies
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action activities
Support tooling, fixture, and test equipment development
Ensure manufacturing documentation and processes comply with quality, safety, and configuration control requirements
Participate in design reviews and provide manufacturability feedback
Contribute to meaningful engineering projects under a mentor and senior leadership
Support engineering functions in electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil, naval, and/or chemical specialties
Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree with between 20% and 40% of the required credits completed
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance
Internship, co-op, or project experience supporting manufacturing or production of complex systems (bonus)
Exposure to defense, marine, aerospace, or other regulated industries (bonus)
Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, quality systems, or configuration management tools (bonus)
Basic understanding of electrical wiring, connectors, and mechanical integration practices (bonus)
Interest in unmanned systems, robotics, or undersea technologies (bonus)
Ability to perform minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment
