Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the government Program Manager with successful design and delivery of three F-35 aircraft variants for U.S. and international customers
  • Coordinate reliability, maintainability, and supportability requirements affecting vehicle design
  • Mediate interactions between industry and government agencies on technology disclosure matters
  • Manage cost, schedule, performance, and risk of low-observable developmental activities
  • Keep program participants advised of work status and progress
  • Evaluate program documentation, business practices, and program risk
  • Synthesize management issues and information for program reviews
  • Integrate resource requirements with acquisition and support plans to develop POM and budget inputs
  • Evaluate budget and resource-level impacts and update resource estimates
  • Analyze changes affecting cost, schedule, and performance and develop responsive strategies and plans
  • Identify and develop low-observable requirements and contractual deliverables
  • Coordinate with the Primary Weapon System Contractor and Autonomic Logistics IPTs on a comprehensive LO maintenance strategy
  • Participate in Cost Benefit Analysis and Affordability Initiative reviews
  • Evaluate depot commercial and organic maintenance, repair, and overhaul support options for best-value acquisition logistics
  • Prepare inputs for ALPD, FRD, Site Activation Plan, and SAMP documentation
  • Evaluate low-observable maintenance and support capability and capacity at DoD organic, commercial, and international activities
  • Coordinate with the JSF cost team to develop defensible, executable cost estimates
  • Participate in SORAP and DIMSA processes
  • Develop proposed Service Policy and Public Law changes to obtain best-value depot maintenance and support services
  • Evaluate technology insertion and support equipment/automated test equipment requirements for DoD infrastructure and ATS initiatives
  • Train JSFPO members on acquisition-process methods and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Secret/SAP access
  • Knowledge of DoD practices, internal controls, or audit requirements
  • Ability to document processes, develop policy materials, and support compliance-focused initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and process tracking tools
  • Effective communication skills for briefing, coordination, and collaboration with government stakeholders
  • Project Management Analyst IV: 10 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 8 years with a Master’s degree in a related field; or high school diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
  • Project Management Analyst V: 15+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 13+ years with a Master’s degree in a related field; or high school diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation quality
  • Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with ability to identify gaps and propose actionable solutions
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-paced, audit-driven environment
