About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support operations at the Navy Warfare Development Center on Norfolk Naval Station
- Provide analytical expertise to the Maritime Operations Center – Exercise Support Team and partner facilities across Hampton Roads
- Research and analyze current and emerging ISR systems and TTPs
- Ensure accurate portrayal of friendly and adversary capabilities and realistic stimulation of intelligence and C2 systems
- Identify gaps between simulation capabilities and OLW intelligence training stimulation requirements
- Maintain a comprehensive list of requirements and coordinate with Technical Leads and the Site Manager to forward requirements to NCTE Software Development
- Provide intelligence dissemination matrices for each exercise event
- Maintain knowledge of intelligence simulations within the JLVC federation
- Research emerging friendly and enemy ISR capabilities for future exercises
- Serve as primary POC to the Intelligence community and designated working groups
- Assist with planning, design, and execution of Operational-level Fleet Synthetic Training events
- Support on-site and distributed training events at other Norfolk-area sites as directed
- Coordinate and collaborate with Military, Government, and Contractor leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
- Experience with current U.S. intelligence systems and national reporting procedures
- Experience supporting intelligence operations at the national or theater level
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Prior military experience
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance, with ability to maintain clearance eligibility
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively
- Ability to follow direction and work independently to complete assignments
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- GALE, GCCS, IBS, DCGS, and Link 16 experience is a plus
- Required travel: 0–10%
