About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement security policy and guidance for conducting classified operations and activities
Plan, design, and enforce security policies and procedures
Safeguard the integrity of and access to all security systems
Review databases to confirm clearance information and send visit certifications
Enter Privacy Act information, foreign contact/travel information, and program access data into JADE
Use JADE to produce access rosters, visitor certifications, program hierarchy access lists, and specialized reports
Maintain accurate unit personnel security files containing all required documents
Provide guidance and assistance to unit personnel in accordance with program directives, security classification guides (SCG), NISPOM, ICD-705, and applicable DoD guidance
Provide risk assessments and security briefings

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 1 year relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience
Knowledge of industry practices, techniques and standards
Ability and written communication skills to develop detailed security products such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), security plans, and facility accreditation packages
Knowledge of data transmission and control
TS/SCI security clearance required
Eligible for SAP access
Knowledge or experience with security briefings
Knowledge or experience with Joint Access Database Environment (JADE)
Knowledge or experience with Program Access Requests (PAR)
Knowledge or experience with Special Access Program Nomination Process (SAPNP)
