Key responsibilities & impact

Review databases to confirm clearance information and send visit certifications
Enter Privacy Act, foreign contact/travel, and program access data into JADE
Use JADE to produce access rosters, visitor certifications, program hierarchy access lists, and specialized reports
Maintain accurate unit personnel security files with all required documents
Support data transmission and control
Ensure physical security of classified facilities, including entry control, badge issuance, meeting rosters, entry/exit checks, and prohibited-device control
Activate alarms, enter unit personnel into the system, conduct alarm tests, and initiate guard force response tests
Maintain door/safe combination databases and change cipher/lock combinations
Develop and implement security policy and guidance for classified operations
Provide security guidance in accordance with program directives, SCGs, NISPOM, ICD-705, and DoD guidance
Process, review, and edit unit and incoming security documentation
Assist with SAP access quotas and maintain program access rosters
Prepare and review PARs using PSQs, templates, and LOCN packages

Requirements

What you’ll need

6 years relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field; 4 years relevant experience with a master’s degree in a related field; or high school diploma/equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
Top Secret/SCI-Eligibility Clearance required
Eligible for SAP access
Knowledge of personnel security
Knowledge of Joint Access Database Environment (JADE)
Knowledge of Program Access Requests (PAR)
Knowledge of Special Access Program Nomination Process (SAPNP)
Knowledge of DD254s
Knowledge of OPSEC
Knowledge of COMSEC
Knowledge of data transmission and control
Familiarity and functional proficiency with JADE, DCII, DISS, and NISP
Ability to develop security policy, guidance, SOPs, security plans, and facility accreditation packages
Knowledge of SCGs, NISPOM, ICD-705, and applicable DoD guidance
Eligible for SAP access
