Key responsibilities & impact

Support development of advanced Digital Array Radar systems
Perform systems engineering activities across the full system lifecycle
Provide technical oversight and accountability for vendor engineering teams
Evaluate vendor designs, plans, and documentation from a holistic system perspective
Conduct independent system trade studies and performance checks to validate or challenge vendor results
Manage requirements decomposition and allocation
Manage requirements verification and validation planning and execution
Identify system technical risks and propose risk mitigations
Develop and maintain system architecture and behavioral models using SysML and other digital engineering tools
Use digital engineering tools throughout system design, integration, and test
Collaborate with subject matter experts and vendors to ensure complex systems meet requirements

What you’ll need

5 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field; 3 years relevant experience with Master’s in related field; 0 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
Demonstrated experience applying systems engineering principles across multiple lifecycle phases, including requirements derivation, interface definition, integration, and verification
Strong systems thinking mindset and ability to analyze how component-level decisions affect overall system performance
Active Secret Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with enhanced security checks
Interdisciplinary engineering background preferred
Proficiency with SysML and digital engineering tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx EA, and Rhapsody preferred
Background or strong technical interest in radar systems, RF electronics, digital beamforming, or signal processing preferred
Experience with MATLAB or Python preferred
Experience planning and executing tests of complex systems in constrained environments preferred
Hands-on experience with design, integration, test, and verification of hardware or software preferred
INCOSE ASEP or CSEP Certification, or similar, preferred
Ability to climb ladders, tolerate confined spaces and extreme temperature variances, and lift or move materials as required
