About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Research, analyze, and provide recommendations for current and future system capabilities
Manage system life cycles, requirements, gaps/shortfalls, and proposed solutions
Develop recommendations for Concepts of Employment (CONEMP) for fielding, use, and sustainment of new capabilities based on Technology Readiness Level assessments
Participate in planning meetings, workshops, and conferences
Provide logistical support to the Sustainment – Futures Capability Directorate Requirements Division
Support integration and optimization of legacy and emerging systems
Develop Characteristics of Need (CON) documents, annexes, and appendixes
Support requirements documentation for autonomous tactical vehicles, tactical wheeled vehicles, and Army watercraft systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

6 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
Previous experience with requirements development is a plus
Army logistics experience is a plus
Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment
