About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer, maintain, and provide cybersecurity defense for Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network client, server, and network infrastructure
  • Support enterprise-wide modeling and simulation applications and services for the Navy Integrated Training Environment
  • Coordinate with team members and departments to update, monitor, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices
  • Perform Microsoft Windows client/server administration, maintenance, and patching
  • Configure systems in compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
  • Work independently and within a team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
  • Security+ or equivalent certification
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance
  • Windows desktop operating systems (WIN11)
  • Experience with Cisco switching/troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Experience digesting and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
  • Experience with patching Microsoft servers and workstations
  • Experience with VMware
  • Experience with network and performance monitoring tools (SolarWinds, etc.)
  • Strong technical troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to quickly read, understand, and apply technical information
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
