About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support day-to-day execution of the NITE contract within HII Mission Technologies
  • Manage Virtual and Constructive operations in accordance with contract requirements
  • Direct contractor personnel directly or through supervisors
  • Establish and implement technical, administrative, and financial controls for contractor FST operations, maintenance, and support
  • Ensure quality across operations, maintenance, logistics support, security, transportation, training, safety, supply, quality assurance, configuration management, and documentation
  • Ensure contract compliance and correct deficiencies
  • Prepare or approve required compliance reports
  • Oversee work scheduling, assignments, workloads, and personnel coverage
  • Recommend improvements to operations, maintenance, logistics support, and personnel utilization
  • Improve work methods and procedures to ensure economy of operation
  • Supervise direct reports and appraise performance
  • Ensure professional conduct and adherence to Government regulations
  • Coordinate temporary reassignment of personnel to other sites as required
  • Represent the contractor on contract matters relating to daily range operations when requested
  • Meet with the Government and support Government-sponsored meetings, briefings, and reviews
  • Coordinate with other contractors and Government agencies
  • Coordinate range scheduling with Government representatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience
  • Experience managing or supporting Virtual and Constructive (V&C) training operations, range operations, simulation activities, or comparable technical mission-support environments
  • Experience supervising contractor or military personnel, including assigning work, evaluating performance, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Experience overseeing daily operational workflows, scheduling personnel, and managing work assignments to meet mission and maintenance requirements
  • Knowledge of operational and administrative controls related to maintenance, logistics, documentation, configuration management, and quality assurance
  • Ability to ensure compliance with contract requirements, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions
  • Experience preparing operational or compliance reports, conducting reviews, and supporting government meetings or briefings
  • Familiarity with DoD regulations, safety standards, security requirements, and professional conduct expectations for contractor personnel
  • Ability to coordinate with government representatives, contractors, and cross-functional support teams to ensure operational integration and effective range scheduling
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance Programs and processes
  • Valid state Driver’s License
  • Currently hold and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Extensive DoD FST and LVC experience (bonus)
  • Extensive managerial experience with DoD efforts (bonus)
  • Cyber Security Awareness training (bonus)
  • Knowledge of HAZMAT (bonus)
