About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out administrative duties for the RCOH Program Manager
- Assist with proper personnel loading of the RCOH program
- Liaise between Production and Project Managers, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition
- Schedule interviews and compose job requisitions
- Review candidates for possible interview
- Maintain the RCOH Personnel Matrix
- Update and maintain required programs with accurate personnel data
- Coordinate training needs for trades personnel
- Coordinate with Purchasing when third-party training is required
- Maintain individual training matrices
- Monitor and track trades timesheets for compliance and attendance
- Liaise with the Production Manager and Human Resources regarding potential corrective actions
- Serve as the RCOH group's timesheet proxy
- Assist trades with timesheet, access, and other issues
- Coordinate and run new-hire orientation
- Ensure new hires receive required safety training and network access
- Coordinate with other Operations groups to provide coverage and share personnel as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 years relevant progressive experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in personnel coordination, staffing, human resources support, or operations support
- Experience supporting trade, production, or industrial/manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to learn and maintain HR, timekeeping, and personnel-tracking systems
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, schedules, and documentation workflows
- Ability to create, track, and maintain personnel matrices and training records
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to compose job requisitions and coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders
- Ability to professionally interact with Production Managers, Project Managers, Trades personnel, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition
- Ability to coordinate interviews, hiring activities, orientation sessions, and training logistics
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data tracking
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Flexibility to support hiring events, trade support needs, and operational priorities
- Problem-solving ability to support trades personnel with access, timesheet, and onboarding issues
- Ability to obtain required security clearance
- May be required to visit a job site in an industrial or shipboard environment
- Preferred: Prior experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition
- Preferred: Knowledge of necessary trades skills
- Preferred: Ability to conduct an effective interview
