About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and assess security operations for designated events, visits, exercises, and mission activities
  • Analyze mission requirements, operational environments, resources, timelines, and risks
  • Develop and maintain event support plans, synchronization matrices, battle rhythm products, decision-support tools, task trackers, risk registers, and operational timelines
  • Manage and safeguard classified materials in accordance with government regulations
  • Coordinate with military, government, industry, and partner organizations
  • Support pre-event coordination meetings, planning conferences, rehearsals, site surveys, and after-action reviews
  • Assist the Security Officer with personnel and event security, access control, classification, participant validation, and security coordination
  • Investigate and report security incidents and support mitigation and corrective actions
  • Track actions, suspense dates, dependencies, and unresolved issues; elevate significant concerns
  • Manage permissions and information sharing across multiple enclaves while maintaining classification and need-to-know controls
  • Support Knowledge Management, including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams administration, information organization, metadata, email distribution lists, and recall cards
  • Coordinate exercise and event technical requirements, network capabilities, equipment, and conference-room AV systems
  • Coordinate schedules, facilities, logistics, technical requirements, access, equipment, and administrative support for major events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 0 years’ experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
  • Possess and maintain an active TS/SCI Security Clearance or higher
  • Ability to evaluate documents, presentations, and reports for releasability and correct paragraph portion markings in compliance with Security Classification Guides
  • Ability to manage ETMS2 tasker coordination, tracking, routing, suspense management, and related portal submissions
  • Ability to plan and coordinate technical requirements across multiple network enclaves
  • Ability to develop and maintain deployable network capabilities and equipment
  • Ability to manage AV systems requirements
  • Authorized Removable Media Custodian responsible for approved data transfers between network enclaves
  • Ability to maintain monthly removable-media logs and upload them to the JWICS portal
  • Government Purchase Card/procurement support skills, including researching requirements, identifying products/vendors, preparing documentation, routing purchases, and coordinating receipt/accountability
  • Proficiency with common office productivity and collaboration tools
  • Ability to work in office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environments; climb ladders; and tolerate confined spaces and extreme temperature variances
