About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Carry out security measures required by NISPOM, government security regulations, and company security policies and procedures
  • Execute daily NITE security program requirements and contribute to the company security program
  • Conduct security briefings and administer an effective security education program
  • Manage National Industrial Security Program, Department of Navy security policies, document control, visitor control, personnel security, and physical security
  • Interpret, prepare, and maintain prime and subcontract DD Form 254 for classified contracting
  • Prepare, track, and monitor security QMS documents
  • Provide weekly security status reports for the Key West Tactical Training Range
  • Guide employees in reporting potential security breaches and completing security paperwork
  • Conduct security training, briefings, and debriefings
  • Manage, protect, and safeguard classified materials and associated records
  • Investigate and report counterintelligence threats through NCIS and DCSA
  • Investigate and report security violations and draft incident reports through CDRL A012
  • Maintain records in compliance with NITE security manual A011 and subsequent work instructions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Master’s in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience
  • Must currently possess and be able to maintain a DoD Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
  • Strong working knowledge of personnel security
  • Knowledge of classified information systems
  • Knowledge of classified contract management
  • Experience with DD254 preparation
  • Knowledge of physical security, insider threat program, counterterrorism and counterintelligence, administrative inquiries
  • Strong knowledge and use of DISS
  • Knowledge and experience enforcing security policies and procedures
  • Experience with COMSEC instructions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
