About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support, install, maintain, and troubleshoot Nutanix, Active Directory, Microsoft, VMware, and storage infrastructure
  • Collaborate with vendors to diagnose and resolve outages
  • Ensure hardware and software are maintained at appropriate patch levels
  • Perform STIG validation, implementation, and remediation
  • Monitor infrastructure for failures and performance issues
  • Maintain comprehensive technical architecture documentation
  • Recommend hardware upgrades and coordinate installation activities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to fulfill project requirements
  • Support implementation of security policies, practices, and guidelines
  • Test and install new software versions in compliance with secure enclave requirements and industry best practices
  • Engage in cross-departmental collaboration on projects
  • Support a multinational initiative connecting national Secret networks and services for enhanced information sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 3 years relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; 0 years experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
  • Applicable industry certifications for Microsoft or Linux
  • Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • US Citizen
  • 3+ years of Nutanix, Active Directory, Microsoft, VMware, and storage infrastructure experience
  • Sec+ (CE)
  • Extensive experience working with Windows Servers (preferred)
  • Experience with Active Directory Suite, DNS, and Group Policy (preferred)
  • Experience patching and STIGing Windows and Linux servers (preferred)
  • Experience working in or for the military (preferred)
  • Expertise in multi-national Combatant Command-level military exercises, coalition networking supporting military operations, and/or Mission Partner Environments (preferred)
  • Effective data analysis and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines
