About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop strategies with nonprofit partners to maximize grassroots fundraising through breakthrough creative and technology resources, including custom proprietary solutions
  • Design innovative digital fundraising, advocacy, and communications campaigns
  • Lead cross-functional teams implementing client campaigns across email, web, social media, and search
  • Generate relationships with new nonprofit partners
  • Assess client KPIs and maximize digital campaign ROI
  • Advise clients on industry best practices and emerging strategies
  • Provide strategic marketing planning, including revenue forecasting and budgeting
  • Work with client technology and creative teams to manage project resources and timelines
  • Identify prospective clients and drive opportunities to design and pitch engagements
  • Provide high-quality client service, including regular reporting and invoicing
  • Manage associates, strategists, writers, and production staff
  • Serve as a front-line client relationship lead for diverse nonprofit engagements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of in-house nonprofit or agency experience in digital communications, fundraising, and marketing for nonprofit organizations
  • Client management experience
  • Experience managing cross-functional project teams
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Experience working with eCRM platforms such as Engaging Networks, Salesforce, or EveryAction
  • Passion for making our world a better place
  • Supporting the team on some nights and weekends during high-volume times such as elections may be required
