About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and lead a new partnership engineering organization
Turn technically complex partner work into repeatable product features
Scale the team, prioritize and support work, and build a healthy team culture
Remove obstacles and create an environment where the team can focus on building solutions
Own the company’s most critical partnerships and requirements for their success
Translate product vision into technical reality with the Product team
Ensure applications are performant, stable, and responsive
Uphold code quality through reviews, testing, and automation
Own the full software development process from design to deployment
Plan projects, including roadmaps, deadlines, and task allocation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience building and managing engineering teams
Proficiency in Python and at least one web framework (FastAPI, Django, Flask)
Proficiency in C#, Golang, TypeScript and at least one web framework
Experience with large-scale distributed systems
Experience working with cross-functional teams, such as Product, Design, and Business
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ownership mindset and ability to ship products end-to-end
Excellent communication skills and a low-ego, team-first attitude
Willingness or eligibility to work in the New York City office; the application form states the position is based there and offers visa transfers and relocation assistance
