About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support a VA IT modernization program
  • Develop stakeholder assessments and stakeholder management plans
  • Create and execute strategic communications plans
  • Conduct organizational readiness assessments and recommend mitigation actions
  • Develop and implement quality plans so OCM deliverables and change activities meet program standards
  • Identify and resolve issues that affect release adoption, take corrective action, and escalate as needed
  • Assess the viability and effectiveness of change tools, processes, and adoption measures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience creating and implementing detailed quality plans for IT products, services, or systems
  • Experience resolving project or program release problems and driving corrective action
  • Experience assuring the viability, functionality, and effectiveness of essential tools
  • Prosci, CCMP, or similar change management certification preferred
  • Experience supporting federal agencies, VA preferred
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement, communications, and readiness in large IT implementations preferred
