About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve in a Program Analyst / Project Officer role
  • Assist the Government Team Lead in managing project goals and plans for successful project execution
  • Advise the Team Lead on cost, schedule, and performance parameters for programs transitioning through the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and DoDI 5000 series
  • Monitor strategy performance to ensure program cost, schedule, and performance objectives remain priorities
  • Assist in managing project efforts to anticipate and fulfill customer needs and align with approved requirements
  • Maintain communication and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to share critical project information
  • Develop, review, and manage program plans, integrated master schedules, project briefs, and other documentation needed to meet milestones and goals
  • Assist the Government Team Lead in communicating project results and status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate program priorities, planning, and execution through oral and written means
  • Coordinate efforts with internal and external organizations to support a cooperative environment
  • Assist in organizing and overseeing a diverse, cross-disciplinary team of government civilians and contractor personnel
  • Help create an environment of teamwork, trust, and cooperation
  • Support DOW Federal acquisition programs and Product Manager Engineer Systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 8 years of progressive experience in program analytics in a defense acquisitions program office or similar organization
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required
  • Mid-level knowledge of Government acquisition practices and processes
  • Notable experience in U.S. Navy/U.S. Marine Corps programs or operations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and priority management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team on multidisciplinary projects in a dynamic environment
  • Experience conducting research and data/trend analysis on weapon systems to support readiness and cost optimization
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Familiarity with MS Office Project
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and use hands and arms for routine work tasks
  • May occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds
  • Required vision abilities include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
  • Employees are expected to follow safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment as required
