About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the first point of contact for catering inquiries for restaurants in the district
Prospect for new catering business by visiting local businesses, offices, schools, and organizations
Drop off menus and samples and build lasting relationships
Develop and maintain a lead pipeline and follow up to convert prospects into recurring customers
Respond to inbound calls, emails, and online submissions regarding catering orders
Provide information about catering menus, pricing, and service options
Answer customer questions, make recommendations, and upsell catering packages
Process and confirm catering orders accurately, including guest counts, dietary needs, and delivery or pickup times
Coordinate order and delivery fulfillment with Mo’ Bettahs locations
Communicate with the general manager and team to ensure timely preparation and delivery
Follow up with customers to confirm details, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction
Maintain a catering order log and track order volume, customer feedback, new accounts, and repeat business
Work with restaurant leadership to optimize the catering process
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and guest experience
Assist in resolving catering-order issues and ensuring positive customer outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 18 years old
Must be authorized to work in the US
Must have a valid driver's license
Restaurant experience preferred
Available to work Monday–Sunday
Basic computer experience, including Microsoft Suite, email, and iPad
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Ability to see, hear, and speak verbally and audibly
Ability to ascend and descend stairs
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel
May be required to work outside in various weather conditions
May be required to work on a computer for extended periods
Ability to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment
Must report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state
Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform essential job functions
