About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in a three-week Virtual Youth Conservation Program in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service

  • Attend Monday-through-Friday full-time program activities, with hours depending on time zone

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be at least 15 by June 1 of the program year and may not be older than 18 years old before August 31 of the program year
  • Must be enrolled in high school or a 2024 graduate
  • Must be able to fully commit to program dates and meeting times
  • Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the assigned work with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Have a valid U.S. Social Security number or have applied for a valid Social Security number by start of program
  • Must be able to obtain a work permit if needed
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or permanent resident
