About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end payments experience for brands and creators, including free products, one-time payments, and affiliate commissions
  • Decide what to build and why, then design how it works
  • Create prototypes and concepts for future iterations
  • Design solutions, collect feedback, and prepare requirements for engineering
  • Prepare user stories and explain them to engineers
  • Perform QA when work is ready
  • Give and receive feedback in retrospectives
  • Decide when work is ready for customers
  • Talk with customers about needs around paying creators, gifting products, and affiliate programs
  • Keep the company updated on the roadmap, releases, and upcoming sprint plans
  • Work with product marketing to differentiate the product and explain new features
  • Track impact through customer feedback and north star metrics
  • Participate in onboarding, customer calls, Fullstory and Amplitude analysis, sprint planning, and backlog familiarization
  • Report to the Head of Product and collaborate with the engineering team lead and other designer/PMs on product ideas, the shared design system, and synchronized roadmaps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience as both a product designer and product manager, or in a hybrid PM/design role, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience writing user stories and communicating designs clearly to developers
  • Experience prioritizing work with broader goals in mind and building a roadmap
  • Experience working with a design system
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Get-it-done attitude and ability to find solutions and stay productive through roadblocks
  • Comfortable with a fast pace and constant change in a growing company
  • Aspiration to achieve high-quality results
  • Interest in the creator economy and alignment with the company’s values
  • Fluent in English
  • UX experience with affiliate, marketplace, or payments products
  • Strong instincts in research or analytics
  • Experience with Figma, Linear, Notion, Amplitude, and Fullstory
